OFFICIAL STATEMENT - PRESTIGIO D'ITALIA ARMED ROBBERY

The Los Santos Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the newly opened Prestigio d'Italia restaurant.

It is understood that a masked individual forced entry into the restaurant with an automatic rifle. Multiple shots were fired, however, thankfully, no injuries or casualties have occurred. There is significant property damage, however, as a result. It is believed that this was a one man job and that the individual acted alone. There is no evidence at this time to suggest the involvement of any other parties.

Due to privacy reasons and the ongoing investigation, further information cannot be divulged at this time.

Please note that this restaurant is a crime scene, and that unauthorised entry may constitute obstruction of justice and/or trespassing.

There is no evidence of any ongoing threat to the public.
